Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By signing up for, accessing, or utilizing the menusi digital menu software and services ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you are registering an account on behalf of a restaurant or hospitality venue, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business entity.
2. Service Scope
menusi provides restaurant operators with cloud-hosted digital menu webpages, high-resolution QR code generation for physical dining tables, real-time item availability controls, and optional direct-to-WhatsApp order dispatch capabilities.
3. Annual Direct UPI Licensing & Zero Monthly Rent
A. Direct UPI Annual Activation:
menusi operates on transparent annual licensing plans (Starter, Standard, and Multi-Branch). Newly registered restaurants can set up categories and dishes immediately. Table stand card downloads and public customer menu hosting are fully unlocked once the account payment reference is verified and approved by our super administrator.
B. One-Time Activation Model:
menusi operates on a custom one-time payment structure per restaurant rather than recurring monthly software subscriptions. After the trial period, full access is continued by completing a one-time activation payment (conducted via UPI, bank transfer, or offline cash). Once activated by our super administrator, the restaurant is never billed monthly recurring software rent.
4. Restaurant Responsibilities & Content Compliance
The restaurant operator maintains sole responsibility for:
- The accuracy of all menu item descriptions, prices, taxes, and service charges.
- Accurate dietary labels, allergen notifications, and mandatory statutory disclosures (such as FSSAI registration numbers and Veg / Non-Veg compliance dots in India).
- Ensuring uploaded photography and dish names do not infringe upon third-party trademarks or copyrights.
- Physical installation and maintenance of table QR stands, acrylic tents, or stickers on restaurant premises.
5. Order Fulfillment & Guest Relations
menusi acts solely as a presentation and communication layer between diners and your establishment. menusi is not a party to the food transaction and assumes no responsibility for food preparation, delivery speed, order discrepancies, or payment handling between guests and the restaurant.
6. Uptime & Platform Availability
We endeavor to maintain high availability (99.9% uptime target) for all hosted menu links and QR scans. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible. We are not liable for guest-side mobile carrier connection drops or intermittent internet outages.
